What i want to do is put a "charging station" in my bookcase. I have a double socket underneath it. I want at least 6 usb sockets plus at least 2 normal sockets. I would prefer to have it semi permanent ie an extension running off the sockets then attached to the wall above the shelf that I want to use for charging although I could make it wired in permanently and flush mount although that would be a fair bit more work. the wall is studwork with lath and plaster
To get enough sockets using normal 2 gang sockets would mean daisy chaining them which is not great
USB charging station that I have seen are somewhat clumsy looking and cannot be wall mounted
Any bright ideas? Anything I am missing here?
Thanks
That will not work - with the flat side to the wall the ports would be tricky to access.
Stick to bookcase with some velcro?
How about those ones that sit flush on desks? I've seen them with 4 ports, could get a couple and build them into the bookcase?
Oh - thats not a bad idea - ta
