Would be an interesting gambit if he had gone ugly early to get the nomination, then reigned it all in later with far more centrist positioning in the actual election. I am sure there are better ways of organising employment especially when they come from the south. i.e. give them work permit for a period of time then recycle the quotas ... really not that difficult.

Where it could get interesting and slightly concerning is if Rubio or Cruz gain traction and get the nomination. Then Trump will run as an independent, Bloomberg will step in as an independent and with the financial backing that Bernie is getting and this being is only shot at the presidency I would not rule him out as running as an independent either. Then there would be 5 names on the ticket and that is a whole different ball game.

Other than the fact that Trump is an idiot, what basis does it have? 8 years ago Clinton couldn't even motivate her own supporters to give her the nomination, she has none of her husband's charisma and all the baggage, and is being pushed by a fringe candidate despite all her apparent advantages. Add to this the fact that the US is in an anti-establishment mindset then Clinton is very far from a dead-cert.
