Ok I realise that the olymipic flame and the carrier is a security risk, but to me it looks like this guy/kid just wants to get passed and hasn't thought what he is doing then Mr. Stocky Security guy 'tackles' him? Maybe Mr. Stocky had shouted stop or something I'm not in possession of the facts but that slightly harsh...sorry for a mundane subject...

Sorry if someone has already posted it.

If they hadn't tripped over the bicycle and ended up on the ground it would just have been a big bear hug really.

Given the clip seems to start with him being grabbed, you've read a lot into that. Top hand wringing, the foundation of stw'ing. Although it did seem a bit harsh to run his bike over.

Yeah, as I watch it more, it does seem less heavy handed, now I would be like ...what did you just do to my bike...
But if I was the cyclist, hopefully I would avoid the 'bubble', but I defiantly would be a li'l rattled.

Yeah, although from the viewing point it's hard to tell how much if any went under the bumper. Maybe it just got pushed a little.

Apparently he cycled off, so can't have been too bad.

I just put that one in cause I thought it was sweet. However I do think that you have raised a point about how they could've handled the youth in a better way.

I'd like to know what part of security training involves grabbing small children posing no threat round the neck and shoving them off their bike across the path of an oncoming car.

But of course that's just 'hand-wringing' - the classic meaningless phrase bandied around on here.

Well perhaps its part of the sponsors' deal ...

It seems to be used on here to denote effete liberal whingers moaning about nothing - hora is a big fan of the phrase which tells you all you need to know. 😉
