I've got an old Nokia 5140 that my dad wants to use on PAYG, but his SIM card is on Vodaphone. The phone is locked to Orange.
How do I get hold of the code that the phone is asking for to lift the restriction to the Orange network?
WOuld it just be simpler to buy an Orange PAYG sim card, or is unlocking the phone straight forward/cheap?
Any help appreciated.

google it - you can often get codes for older phones free

Or you can hone Orange they will normally do it if the phone is out of contract.
