+1 on Star Bar - however its hard to mention that without an honourable mention of the much missed 'Boost with Guarana'

Oh, and above all others, the magical 'Riesen Chocolate Chew'

Just had a Toffee Crisp there first in awhile, was very nice.

Those awful cheap chocolate and caramel Tunnocks Caramels can be bought all over the UK.

Peanut Butter KitKat, the food of champions.

The salt in the PB practically makes it an electrolyte.

They're made of plastic and taste weird, and yet, I can't stop eating them.

Surprised no-one has said CurlyWurly yet. When I were a lad it were real toffee and when you bit into it all the chocolate fell off.

I'd rather rub fairy liquid on my, post poo and unwiped, arsehole and lick that than eat parma violets.

+1 for Fuse.
The sweepings up of all the other bars all held together by chocolate.
It was like having a little piece of everything all mashed up.

And Tunnocks caramels are well known outside Scotchland.
The dark chocolates are excellent.

Just discovered these... very very good

as for

gogg - Member
Peanut Butter KitKat, the food of champions.

See wrong thread, cause anyone who underates the crack of choc bars that is a Peanut Butter kitkat needs a good [s]talking to[/s] kicking (only nut allergists are allowed an opposing view on this one)

Toffets 😆 I used to be a courier to Paynes who were near Croydon, the security guard used to give me a kilo bag every day of the things. Was great for a week then I was sick of them , my friends were sick of them nobody wanted the bloody things, ended up binning them 😳

I thought they'd stopped making these but saw millions of wrappers blowing around in the weekend. Maybe it's just because it's still the mid 80s in Dumfries.

Shouldn't have opened this thread before going on my break. Cycling home the long way to make up for the ton weight of chocolate I'm going to eat now, I think.

Someone brought us round a box of After Eights at the weekend. A tasty renaissance!

Double Deckers: Am I making this up or did the biscuit have the merest sliver of raisin spread throughout it?

It can't be too long before ITV4 do a 'forgotten bars of the 1970s" and the swisskit will be right up there with the unforgettable tag line 'you'll risk it for a swisskit'
