I've no experience of UFH, but know what it is and what it can do. I imagine a inexperienced builder (like what I've got), may make the wrong choice in terms of controls, manufacturer etc.

Anybody know which system is best.

I am building an extension, want to heat the ground floor (kitchen diner) with UFH, area 10m x 3.8m, glazed at one end onto the garden. The rest of the house will be traditional radiators, but I wanted to make this area particularly cosy.

I have a worcester bosch greenstar 35cdi. I would like to incorporate a smallish woodburner with backboiler to add heat to the system during winter. Maybe too ambitious. The builder is not inspiring me with confidence. Whole house will be 5 bedroom end terrace on 3 floors by teh time we are finished.

Builder's supplier (Travis Perkins) uses Uponor UFH, which looks ok. Weather compensation looks worth installing.

Any opinion most welcome.
