Given he killed a number of Russian Air Force pilots during his coup-that-wasn't, I wouldn't be surprised if someone from that branch of the military took the opportunity to deploy a bit of payback.

I'd imagine [Moscow] are a lot more worried about all the heavily armed mercenaries in Africa deciding Moscow doesn't need it's cut.

Ukraine would be absolutely delighted to be credited with killing the leadership of Russia's private army. If Putin goes down that road, it's a sign of that he feels incredibly vulnerable.
Wagner aligned Telegram channels seen to suggest the Priggo and most of Wagners upper leadership were on that plane and are calling for blood.
On a side note, Ukranian forces took the town of Robotyne today.
Robotyne is only 25km from Tokmak.

The usa told them to leave as Belarus is totally locked in as the borders where closed. The usa cannot fly into Belarus to evacuate.
