Just looking for a fun day out as apposed to learning to ski. Never been but would love to take the kids (12 & 6yo) to one if they allow sledging. Has anyone been - do they do this? Many Thanks.

They certainly do. The Hemel Alp does sledge sessions, as well as rubber rings and all sorts of stuff.

However, how about doing a family ski lesson? If you're all beginners, you'll love it!

Tamworth does too. They have a separate sledging/tubing slope and also a snow play area.

My little one (9) went to a kids party at the Tamworth one, not sure how expensive it was, but she came back soaked and buzzing, hooked, as they say.

Great fun, they also do a Xmas winter wonderland indoor snow sledge adventure, went one year and there was more snow outside than inside, but your 6 year old would love it.
