The lawsuit seems to say they are dependent on their reputation and they risk losing billions. The stuff they quote about being founded by venezuelans and being linked to Dominian is clearly provable as being false. Looks like Fox and Newsmax arent going to take that level of risk.

Despite the retractions, the damage is done for both companies. I would expect them to tear into the news agencies.
That video isn't even a retraction per se. It's a pretty lame attempt (at the eleventh hour and long after the horse has bolted) to present 'the other side' of the argument. So that they can say "Hey, we're just reporting what people are saying, and LOOK we had this guy on debunking stuff". The fact that they've done it only after the lawyers have started to circle would somewhat invalidate that argument. Remains to be seen what Dominion et al do next.
