If Trump loses, mcconnell loses the veto, executive order power and it looks like the house will be democrat. Because you know he played trump like a banjo. So his power will be diminished. Which is a good thing all around. Too bad it looks like he might retain the senate.

I can't see how Biden can win Nevada. From a rough tally and extrapolation Trump looks like he might have another 30-40k votes and he's only 8k behind.
Scratch that. Didn't realise Clark County wasn't done yet. That looks like it'll add another 60k ish to Biden so maybe.

The interesting thing that is getting lost in the noise is that Arizona is still in play. That Georgia and North Carolina are even in question. That tells me that republicans should be piccolaxing themselves that demographics, changing voter expectations and the direction they've let the party go is increasing the likelihood that the party is starting to lose its place in the US political system.
I think I agree that politics is changing. It's no longer so much republican/democrat rather it is instant gratification Vs bigger picture. The Paris climate agreement shows that. The point of the party conventions should have been to pick an appropriate candidate for the people to vote for and the republican party failed because they wanted power for the sake of it 🙁

CNN have reported Maricopa, AZ as the gap closing further to around 70k votes, but based on what they know of the remaining votes to count Trump isn't closing the gap fast enough.

Yes, except Maine and Nebraska. That's the problem with the Electoral College, if you win a state by a single vote, you get all the Electoral College votes.

If he manages to overcome such significant fraud and voter suppression, sustained propaganda from Fox and Facebook, plus an incumbent president illegally using the White House as a campaign base, it will be quite an achievement in itself.
