Anyone know how I get to Twitter or Facebook in China? Just logging onto a network doesn't work. I assume I need to go in through something and then into them....
You need to download the Guardian Project apps (Orbot, Orweb ect) from either the Apple store or Google Play.
I didn't know about those apps. Sounds good. I've only had Twitter in Shanghai in certain hotels.
Twitter does seem to work via the Orange 3G network in China though as I recall, but not via wifi.
Cheers...I am looking and the store does not seem to find them...any other names they could be under?
Unfortunately when I try and set up data T-mobile for here it just bombs me out so I think it will need to be via wifi.....
proxy server worked grand - beware locals will quiz you if they see your on facebook.
