How do you stop the bell hurting the back of your wrist? I've got two nice bruises already.

It's meant to condition your body for strength and stamina, not bruise resistance surely?

Anyway I've figured it out - use your strength to keep your wrist locked out and it really helps, although it's hard on the muscles it's hard in a good way.

Fnarr.

Tried some swings while standing on a vew-do balance board. That was interesting. Not with 20kg though.

Nice one!

Emsz - he is, isn't he? He's actually becoming a bit of a hero of mine. Don't tell him though.. I don't want him to know that I'm almost certainly going to start stalking him.

It's sort of nice knowing that some-one exists like Molgrips. Sorry Molly, but your posts about nearly everything make me shake my head and think "How do you make any decisions at all?"

😆

You over analyse more than me!!!

According to YouTube you should do it with a curled up young lady, not a kettle bell or dumb bell.

That guy's doing it wrong how? He's not starting with the weight on the floor, picking it up was the hardest bit I found.. he's also not making a plank as he gets up like some of the vids..

Good exercise though, I really loved it for some reason. Only did a few and they were pretty easy but still got a lovely worked out stimulated feeling all over, and went to bed dreaming of hammering race courses on my XC bike 🙂 Plus I feel really good this morning.

I was thinking of ordering bigger weights - but these ones have cost me 45 euro each 🙁

I could return them I suppose. Or just buy some lead sheeting and wrap it around them 🙂

The reason I waffle on here all day is because I am bored stupid at work. The reason I ask so many questions is because to think about and analyse stuff is to start to unlock the real treasures of the world... 🙂 for me at least.

.....and let us not forget the entertainment that this external introspection provides to the rest of us.
