Morning all
I've got an external drive I want to secure, cos it's got all my private stuff on.
Is truecrypt as good as it claims to be? There's nothing MASSIVELY sensitive on there, just personal, no work stuff

That was a bit short, wasn't it. There's not a lot else to say though; it does what it says on the tin, there's nothing better that I'm aware of, and it's free. What's not to like.

Open source so you know it's got no backdoors 😉
Only thing is the size of the partitions was fairly small last time I used it.

It's great as Cougar said, just make sure you create the recovery CD and store it somewhere safe, in case you forget the decryption passphrase!
