By all accounts it's a great show (mate has seen them) - guest vocalists are encouraged to channel their inner MES, but house rules are that it only goes so far as mannerisms and voice, and you aren't allowed to start unplugging people's amps on the fly (a MES trait apparently) and you definitely can't start any fights with or sack any band members.

I hope there's a French tribute band called Gaul Stones.
There's an all-woman Ramones tribute act called the Ramonas and an all-woman Slade tribute act called Slady.
The Ramonas do their own songs too, I don't know whether Slady do.
Lesbian Dopeheads on Mopeds
I think that was the real band, when they needed to do "unannounced" gigs to try new material. Might be completely wrong of course
Scottish Law Enforcers - The Polis
Does 'Dread Zeppelin' count? Led Zeppelin covers in a reggae style with an Elvis impersonator front man. Awesome in their own right. Been around since the 80's / 90's I think.
Also, 'Hayseed Dixies' doing country ACDC and various other metal tracks.
Oasis they’re a Bettles tribute band and equally as shit.
The Jam'd, A Band Called Malice, etc etc.
From The Jam - actually includes original members... does that count?
There is a Marmalade cover band ... sadly(?) not covering The Jam.
Oasis they’re a Bettles tribute band and equally as shit.
they’re inadvertently a Rutles tribute act - to the extent that they have been made to pay them royalties
Does 'Dread Zeppelin' count?
not really - covers rather than impersonation
Laibach can’t really consider a Beatles tribute even when they cover whole Beatles albums
Vag Halen- all female van halen and others covers band
