I believe the insurance have a dedicated dept deditacted to car tree interfaces, called Special Branch manned by ex conifers.

A corporation like Mcdonalds will probably take your quote to there solicitor/accountant and just give you the money for the damages, as kind of hush money. plus a little extra for your good willed nature and a letter of apology.

they may not though, but hopefully the manager will see good sense and be good natured.
