Hi Guys,

Last minute to see mother in law (cancer and will pass away any day).

Wondering what would be the best option for 2 weeks - cash or use my natwest card (£1.20 per purchase).

I'm thinking Marks/Spenc or post office and just use my visa debit?

Will be staying in hotel while I work and let the other half have her time with her Mother and see them both in the evenings.

Thanks for any advice!

you'll pay a cash advance fee, I think, using a card even in post office/m&s, personally I'd get cash out of the hole in the wall with your debit/cash card and use that to buy money from m&s.

at £1.20 a transaction, I'd be getting some cash out. I though most debits cards didn't charge for transactions.

Cash from PO and back up with cards - have done it this way for years and all good.
