A quick bit of astrophotography, 30 second exposure with my phone resting on the roof of my car - there’s Orion and Sirius in the bottom left, Mars above, Auriga and centre Jupiter above and to the right.
F1 exhibition at the excel yesterday. Pretty good, but helps if you like f1!
Sorta done. Not sure it's big enough but will do for now.
I call this composition "Winter Storm"
*sigh* Why couldn’t the Maggies have turned up at the weekend? Bloody difficult to take photos of as well.
A walk along the old line which they’re busy converting it into a path, cycle way and horse trail.
Pup ready for the rugby
@Elshalimo that Santa baby thing is terrifying
I like your eye for a photo of grot
I used to work with a really great photographer who also loved taking photos of grotty places and things. We used to go and walk around the brownfield derelict parts of South Leeds at lunchtime taking photos of urban decay. He took some really brilliant photos of that stuff. All redeveloped now.
@el_boufador - thanks but I just take simple phone photos of stuff I see. The creepy urban Santa in Lisbon last week was just asking to be shared. Cheeky freaky chappy that he is.
This was equally as scary
is that the old Alnmouth line from Alnwick?
No, that’s been done already and has a historic steam train run on it too. This is Alnwick to Cornhill, but will incorporate Alnmouth line too.
“It’s no good trying to hide, dad, we can see your ass sticking out of the water!”
Not taken today, but catching up with a bit of editing, so is one of 'Today's Photos'.
And one actually taken today while doing a bit of water management down the local.
A glorious sunny day looking across Hamble Common to the river.
Some re routing was necessary, especially as I'd left my waders back on the beach where I'd been launching boats for training in the morning.
Back home to Benderloch for a week looking after a convalescent mum.
Lunchtime dog walk somewhat ruined by the dog who was never trained to walk on a lead properly but can't be trusted off it 🙄
Mars at the top, Jupiter almost balanced on Taurus’ horn, and Sirius at the bottom looking like a tree ornament! Hand held 3 second exposure.
Good timing with the fading light on last night's ride.
