Had an aurora red alert a little while ago, so I thought I’d see if there was anything showing. 2.15am, with an almost full moon, a 30s exposure makes it look like daylight, but with added stars. But no aurora as far as I could see. [img] [/img]

Actually Tuesdays photo, I forgot to post it. There’s an odd little mark on the photo, it’s actually a bat that was flying around, it’s wingbeats are so fast they blur.

That's the Adams Family down there that is. Plus a cup of coffee around the corner at the Coed y Brenin visitor centre.

20240921_1105541st attempt at plastering, getting room ready for redecorating and a log burner install. We usually work with our plasterer mate, but he's on hols so had a go. It's like spinning plates! Hopefully my wife approves. I'll stick to fitting kitchens....

20240926_091742Spotted on the brickwork in our porch. The closest id I can find is a Poplar Moth. Quite a specimen.

Still getting raspberries off my canes, and several, which were looking past there best have new leaves growing.

I’ve got ice cream, or at least lemon sorbet in the fridge, just need some double cream…
