Today I rode an Apollo folding bicycle around the Fira de Roma exhibition halls and I am still alive! 40ft Artics and fork lifts flying around and a fly by string steering system and no body armour or helmet.

What did you manage to overcome against all the odds today?

I completely missed any World Cup football action. I'd say that was against the odds 😉

I cycled from Southport to Liverpool, and arrived home with both wheels.

Today I....
...swallowed chewing gum...
...made funny faces as the wind changed...
...ate all the apple seeds...
...played with matches...
...and, consumed alcohol.

and Im still [s]standing[/s] sitting down quietly.

After mucho pacing the kitchen went for a road ride EVEN THOUGH IT WAS RAINING!

Drunk on the sprit of rainy wreck-less-ness I also turned right instead of left at a junction on a whim that took me along a road I'd never been down before, WITHOUT A MAP!

All without body armour or SOS points.

Braved the skatepark on my bmx for the first time in years. Managed to not fall off despite how unstable I feel on it. I'm still shit at it though.

Rode a Maxxis Crossmark 2.1 over soaking wet, rocky limestone trails and survived.

After reading the reviews (which I did after buying the tyre, doh), I expected it to burst into flames and throw me from the bike in an uncontrollable highside at the first sign of moisture.

It was surprisingly good.

Had all my back up wedding photo gear stolen out the back of my car. Thought I might die of rage (especially after speaking to the insurance company) but am still breathing. Deeply.

I managed a high pollen count without any tabs and didn't drown or rub my eyes away..

Got a very wet handkerTshirt and am a little puffy though.
