take dressing in a small pot

throw away salad and dressing (unless already spilt inside your bag)

Go back in time and steal one of the miniature jam jars that were on the breakfast table at the last hotel you stayed at.

Use that to carry the dressing to work.

Bag stays intact - win.

No need for pasty - lose.

No need to pay additional VAT - win.

Small container/bottle for dressing AND a pasty. It concerns me that your lunch is at 7pm! Maybe get 2 pasties?

Don't dress the salad until just before you eat it - will stop the leaves going soggy (same reason you don't wash them until shortly before you are going to0 eat).
