Hi TJ, Just a quick question. I bought a netbook in late August since 2 weeks old it has developed a problem of the screen going white until i move the screen (ribbon problem) its now quite frequent.

Am i right in thinking I should return to the retailer, who I have to give a chance to repair the fault? Do the retailer have to accept the return? thanks.

It's Thatcher's fault, all of it.

Not all of it. English helmet wearers must shoulder some of the blame.

TJ is just busy looking at Wikipedia to decide what is the "right" answer here. 😉

Hello 🙂

http://www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/consumers/fact-sheets/page38311.html

Have a read and decide what is appropriate

basically if there is a manufacturing fault then you can return it to the retailer and its your choice - money back, repair or replacement

Retailers will often try to wriggle out of their responsibilities as they are onerous and costly.

Its actually the capitalist system and the military industrial complex along with several large Lizards and Prince Philip who are to blame - the tories are just stooges for the lizards.

Wear a purple tracksuit and you will be fine

Edit - no need for Wiki - government fact sheets will do
