Signed up recently...

1) Why all the ridiculous pouting, Posh has a lot to answer for?

2) Obviously air brushed images and eyes made to practically glow. Seriously, why?

3) Using apps to add on cartoon bambi ears and noses etc? WTAF?

Mind you, from the profile comments, it would seem that most men's idea of flirting is a cock shot sent to them.

Good laugh though!

Missing a trick.

Cock shot with Bambi ears is where it's at.

I'll leave that as my last resort go-to. 😀

I think I might need to sign up then.

Can't really comment on "ugly" but I'm practically anorexic these days.

I dont know if it is just one of those three things or all of them combined but it certainly works...

if your goal is to be ignored

I actually did that for a mate about 8 years back. He is a nice guy, just a little socially challenged.

I picked the pics and wrote his profile for him.

Can't remember the dating site.
It worked, he is now married to a woman he met on there, with 2 kids.

His wife still doesn't know I wrote his profile, I'm sworn to secrecy!

Cyrano de Bergerac.lol

His wife sell doesn't know I wrote his profile, I'm sworn to secrecy!

Alternative plan...

Tell his wife it was essentially your profile she fell in love with so you should be together and run off with your mates mrs

Hell no!
I feel a bit guilty actually, she is a control freak. She also dislikes me. A lot.

I was making a joke about my mate blocking out the sun at a bbq...

I said that JUST as his wife sat on my mates lap... thinking it was meant for her

I seriously couldn't have planned it better if I meant to.

Not my fault but I am allied to Satan as far as she is concerned now.

What I don't understand is the pictures of women's children on there, especially the ones that are just the kids. I have no problem dating women with children, I have a child too. But just mention them (not write "me kids r me life") and leave them out of the photos.

I know if I was young and single I'd be all over it though!

When my mate split up with his long term girlfriend, he might as well have fitted a revolving door on the front.....I surprised he didn't wear it out.

Good luck, and this thread is useless without photos!

I believe from conversations with some single female friends the attention they get can be way over the top and beyond offensive, for some it's about putting people off as much as attracting them.

I had a great couple of months on there when I split with the wife.
Real eye opener after 15 years in a relationship.
Dating used to be so much hard work. By the time you "connect" on tinder, you already know that they're single and like you so it takes out all of the hard work.
If you're genuine, I find that it's really easy to get on with people. I had quite a few dates, all with nice girls.
Met my girlfriend on there, we've been together since April and things are great. Loads in common.
There's a lot of negative press about it but it's much easier to find someone that you genuinely have things in common with rather than ending up in a relationship after a drunken encounter with a stranger.
Good luck!

A friend of mine uses it, and has shown me some of the messages she's received 😯

Honestly, you thought youtube comments outed the worst of people? No, Tindr seems like a portal for all the illiterate, foul mouthed, genuinely unpleasant male human beings of the world. Not just a bit graphic, but derogatory and properly abusive at times.

Never used it myself so no idea if it's like that if you're a guy, but somehow I doubt it...

Obviously not all like that, she's met some nice people too, but I was properly shocked by the nasty ones.

A very attractive young female colleague, recently single uses it (pouty lip profile pic etc)

She gets a ridiculous amount of attention on it and is constantly getting posh dates out of it, but yeah some of the nastier attention she gets on there is unbelievable

Back in the day I was on a few of these sites. Plenty of rutting to be done it must be said.

The issue i found when actually trying to date someone was that they are getting bombarded with hundreds of messages every day with other blokes trying to cut my grass.

It sounds more and more like online dating sites are heading towards a mix of two Black Mirror episodes "Hang the DJ" and "Nosedive" ..

Good luck out there until the VR headsets and bodysuits arrive 😉

One of my staff uses it to troll idiots when she's bored*. You'd be amazed what requests she gets...

*one asked her for some socks, another wanted her to walk over a piece of A4 with some heels on, and so on and on....

Instant swipe lefts :

Stupid ‘kin eyebrows
Snap chat filters
Pout
Pout combined with looking like they’re straining a tough brown fish out
Shoelace tied around their neck
Standing as if they’ve had a stroke affecting the whole of one side of their body
Picture with pet French bulldog
No picture of them
Group pictures/pictures with a man

That instantly rules 99.99999999% of all female profiles out

this gives my some insignt to how picky the women are being looking at my picture (very breifly before swiping left)

Get the odd (probably accidental) match that either goes;
I say something, get ignored or I say something, they respond with maybe a few messages then ignore me (probably after they look at my picture more closely) 😆

Out of idle curiosity Houns, what age range are you looking at? Those eyebrows hint at a younger crowd than I am playing for.

Women on dating apps rate about 80 percent of men below average.

Make of that what you will.

Good to see that Tinder is no different in the UK than BC. The shoelace around the neck is a new one though.

I love the classic 'bathroom in a skimpy bikini with the camera high in the air being pointed down to pouty face with maximimum boobage on display' and below comments about not looking for a hook-up and slamming men for sending stupid messages....

And yes, any woman using Snapchat filters should instantly be shot.

Just stop trying to date British chavs ffs, find some classy French or Italian woman instead. Spoof your phones geolocation to some nice warm country with mountain biking.
