Trying to remove bars from the roof rails on my audi a4 avant.
Its been so long since they have been on there I havn;t got a clue where to start.
The Thule website isnt exactly clear they wont budge even with locks turned and removed
Any ideas?

don't you put the end bit (where the locks were) in, and trun anti clockwise to slacken off the clamps, and then lift and remove?

I have these bars. There are short rods wedged into the plastic ends. The idea is you rotate the ends anti-clockwise to undo the clamps. Trouble is the rods often become detached and end up inside the bars. I have gripfilled mine to stop this happening.
