strange question, anyone been to thorpe cloud in dovedale recently?
Thinking of going over weekend with other families to take kids up, but don't want to bother if there's sheep grazing as it means doing the whole walk with the dogs on leads and that's rubbish for them. Prefer to go somewhere else in that case.

I thought the area was segregated so sheep can't get there. I'm sure you walk over a cattle grid to get onto the trail that leads upto Thorpe Cloud. I was up there a few weeks ago and didn't see any. It was absolutely heaving (as it usually is when the weather is good) with plenty of dogs off leads running around so I can't imagine it would be an area sheep are allowed to graze.
