MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Okay then, the job is packed in, the house is sold and the year out/mid-life crisis begins.
One of the main pieces of said crisis is to buy and convert a van (SWB T5) and travel around Europe in it. Bikes will obviously be taken, but I want to be able to store them inside the van. Most conversion I've seen don't allow it, Amdro do one that possibly does, anyone know of any others?
any reason not to choose a LWB instead?
Mainly because I want it to be as 'car-sized' as possible for parking in towns etc. SWB will fit in a standard car park space, I'm assuming that a LWB wouldn't?

Been looking into this myself, possible other conversion is a bespoke conversion by dirty weekenders.
Have a look at THIS the blue on enear the bottom, its a swb t5. 2 bikes fit in the 'boot' sideways with only the front wheels off, the seat pulls down to a bed.
I took a left hand drive fiat hymer with bike rack on the back down pretty much the most narrow and arse tightening lanes in Cornwall and Devon and parked it in ever town I visited, go LWB once you get used to where the corners are you'll be fine! (and you'll be thankful for the extra room!)
Inside is the only option if you want to be able to securely leave your van.
