Yes, fairly mundane - just caught up with GOT with my Wife, she's been away for ages and my anxiety is leaving me alone for the first time in what feels like months, it's like all my Xmases at once.

Frog watching.

Seemed to have turned the garden into a frog sanctuary. So go check out how many are out in the evening.

My wife's in early labour, we're chilling out in bed drinking fruit tea, listening to chilled music whilst I occasionally rub her back.
Might have to go and fill the birth pool in a bit ๐Ÿ™‚
Could be a long but fun night!

Though based on how long it's taken to get to this point, it could be another couple of days. This baby is in no bloody hurry!

Just packing off and sending home some friends that have been with me for 2.5 weeks, that's 2.5 weeks of sailing, windsurfing, surfing, paddle boarding, eating, drinking, telling stories of old times, reminiscing, planning.

I don't ever think "this is the life" because most of the time (other than working) this is my life.

Steady on Perchy, next you'll be making references to his favorite pub burning down....

(Good luck to the ajantoms.)

I am in Salford. I am working.

But, on the upside, the rain is outside the building. And I haven't had to bollock anyone. Yet.

Coming to the end of week 4 of 6 weeks unpaid leave to keep an eye on the kids over the summer. They are currently playing computer games again.

Just found out the position at work I'd applied for has been pulled due to funding, so two and a half weeks till I go back to hell.

On the plus side, I've ridden 511 miles while I've been off, and about to load bikes onto the car to take the kids for an afternoon at Hicks Lodge!

Just finished buying the Food & Drink for my wife's 50th birthday bash.
Now sat in the sunshine in the Cotswold's @ the in-laws enjoying a glass or 2 of Weston's cider ๐Ÿ™‚

Its not all easy living though as my wife's catheter blocked this morning so in the absence of a district nurse I changed it myself, Don't worry I've been trained to do it by several nurses.
Its still a bit stressful as I would have to deal with the soggy aftermath if I get it wrong.

Day off in holiday season. The day started wet and then the sun came out. Went for a short ride with the dog who came back smelling disgusting with a black tide-mark to his chest.
Waiting for Mrs Sandwich to come home and I will be cooking chicken risotto, there will be G&T first though.

Well done Mrs ajantom and welcome to Ms ajantom

Congrats ajontom and family.

This has been my day so far, cuppa in bed, catch up on the news, chat, read a bit. Breakfast about 10ish, bacon & fried egg on a roll cooked outside. Walk up the nearest hill with flask of G&T, sit in the sun with wife drinking said G&T. Walk down to Kippford and have a pint in the anchor, head home for lunch, but stop at Mariner for another pint.

Head of for lunch, muscles in garlic and white wine.

Consider going for a ride, bit cloudy so scone with jam & cream instead
