Interesting juxtaposition of getting back the use of her legs but losing the paralympics.

Could she not just have kept it quiet for 18 months or so? ๐Ÿ™‚ Or maybe the IOC could've made an exception? After all if you are a hand cyclist having working legs doesn't constitute an advantage does it?

It's an interesing idea tho. Should hand cycling/wheelchair racing not be open to all? After all any advantage an able bodied person might have from use of lower body would probably be cancelled out by the extra weight of muscly legs and the fact they aren't pushing a chair day in day out..

I don't expect this idea to be popular mind ๐Ÿ™‚

Great story, but it made me think of the "ex leper" from The Life of Brian. Bloody do-gooders ๐Ÿ˜†

Ex-Leper: Half a dinare for me bloody life story?
Brian: There's no pleasing some people.
Ex-Leper: That's just what Jesus said, sir.
