Has anyone been or any advice on where to go. Lille seems to be easiest place to get to but then a bit of a hike to get up to the interesting sections. Route isn't published yet looking at the website http://www.letour.com/paris-roubaix/2016/us/ but any past experience would be interesting. Would like to try and get into a weekend.

A lot of the hotels will be booked up, but you could try a Airbnb?
The route is the same every year, it'll be quite doable by bike from Lille certainly to Aarenberg or Carrefour etc.
We're riding the touristique the day before, then heading out and trying to catch them at several places along the way on the Sunday.
