An old pair of Asics were starting to smell and had been relegated to running in the woods/mud/bad weather, I decided to wash them in the machine, however it took the sole off one. Now ready for the bin I cut it open out of curiosity to see the 'gel' insert and there was nothing there, just the foam of the sole. Feeling like I fell for that gimmick. At least my retro Reebok ERS are returning energy back to me...
Anyone brave enough to admit falling for a gimmick?
