Rollercoaster fans - where's good to go on a Saturday somewhere north of London, south of Birmingham, suitable for kids age 9 and up who like that sort of thing?

I do not like that sort of thing, so have no idea!

All suggestions gratefully received. Feel sick already.

I was going to suggest Drayton Manor but that's just north of Brum

Chessington and Thorpe Park are South West suburbs of London

I'm not sure there are any major ones in the space you're looking at

There's Gulliver's Land near MK but it may be a bit tame for a thrillseeking 9+ year old.

Thorpe park is the only sensible answer if they're tall enough.

Love thorpe park, missing my Merlin Pass this year, but my kids were getting to that weird age gap where they're too old for the kids rides but too young for the bigger ones so we were just walking around parks for an afternoon and paying £500 for the privilege
