Twas a bit generic and formulaic for my liking but it does appear to get good reviews and has lasted a few series so far.

if the 1st episode was anything to go by its going to be a pretty good series.

First series was pretty good - fairly formulaic action juxtaposed nicely with their home life.

After that it got a bit daft as some producer clearly decided the wives should get more involved and started getting them to do spying missions. 🙄

I must admit I thought it was tripe. Even with a hangover I couldn't suspend my disbelief at the plot long enough to get through an episode.

Its pants watch a few episodes and fast forwaded the bits about the women.

Soldier Soldier is the way it should be done!

I think the final episode was screened on Virgin 1 a couple of months ago, it's been cancelled with no proper ending.

It's Ultimate Force meets the A Team - great viewing that you don't need to think about for mindless male entertainment

Generation kill has just started on channel 4, now that is very good.

First series was ace 2nd wasn't too bad then it went blimming stupid! You want to watch Generation Kill now that's war my boy 😆

The final series is the best IMO (although i can't remember the first one).
It had more decent single episodes, as above the middle series were a bit silly!
I enjoyed it anyway, was easy watching to relax to.

Apparently they're not going to make any more series as it never took off well enough in the USA, don't think it was helped by the channel it was on and when it was shown. 🙁

Erm it's actually crap with one or two good episodes. If they are the elite god help America 😉
