TSY: the offers still there for sat night if it makes it easier for you. was going to invite torm as well and suggest a man-film-fest and but that would mean whoever's shorter would need to sleep on the 2 seater (Still surprisingly comfy)

if this excites you in the underbeard then throw me an email... should be in my profile (same to you torm *bro-fist bump*)

rusty - will be good to see you and DrP again. Any chance of persuading Mulletus?

c_g - the best chance of persuading Mulletus will be if we meet you in the car park for a chat and then bugger off for a road ride

Is there tarmac involved? Can I wear lycra?
I've been given a pass but will need to know if there's a skills course available before? I seem to have forgotten what this thing they call mountain biking is!!! 🙂 😕

@Mulletboy - At least our proper bikes won't get dirty if the mtb's come out 🙂 Entered beach to beach yet?

ahh nickc...... what an excellent offer, looking at the growing numbers that might be needed if we separate into groups, would prob be wise to get the whippets with mph on the brain together 🙂

Will there be an SS division?

Ooh I so hope so... 🙂

STWers gather in the Lookout car park prior to the ride:

I can try out my new winter helmet too; lack of vents means a cosy warm bonce.

No that's the Suede Bumming Jacket.

TSY; Flashy doesn't actually exist; he is the alter-ego of Ernie Lynch.

Who himself is a fiction of my imagination.................

TSY - do you wear leather driving gloves? To go with the suede jacket obviously.

The Captain doesn't exist. No man would refuse to lead a ride with 3 gorgeous STW girlies!

Will people be more dissapointed if I don't turn up, or if I turn up without the jacket? Provided I'm not the figmant of someone else's imagination that is...

They sound like a super none-Xmas present, thanks.

Ooh it's been a while since I was last in a police vayn. Well, a couple of years actually.

One time, I managed to get the cuffs off while in the back of one, and nonchalently handed them to the copper as I got out at the station. 🙂 His sergeant wasn't happy.

They tend to like using the most speed-bumpy route, and driving really fast over them. Ah, such jolly japes...

haha, think its the general formatting, and amount of stuff i copied and pasted from various posts over 2 threads then edited it down that give me that warm "look at my beautiful post" feeling. nearly threw in a photo of a cat on an invisible bike with a badly spelt caption but figured that would be too fantastic

as this groups getting bigger and bigger, i'm looking for volunteers to lead a group towards the labyrinth and safely back using sexy singletrack, and people happy to chill at the back of their group and act as a sweeper 🙂

also, anybody with OS or gps maps showing routes/singletrack that might help me hash together a rough route so we all end up in the same places in order to laugh at northeners and the poor (as we do), i'd really appreciate it if you could send me an email 🙂

as we say in the south... wurd to your mums x

I volunteer to keep the women in the cafe company and heckle cold riders after their rides. Heck, i'll even lead the 'cant be arsed to ride' group.

Went for a burn yesterday and it was a more than a little chilly, think I might be wearing my suede thermal underwear.

Watch out riding over those frozen puddles phil old chap, I have come a cropper doing that and it ain't pretty! I would love to come and stay the night but I am going to be busy as hell on the Saturday (did I mention I am going to be buying a new FS bike!!!!!!) so I will have to find a way to let you down gently, I figured a stroke of my suede thermals might be enough to placate you.

Looks like this is going to be a considerable gathering, will be lovely to put some faces to names. Do we stick with our forum names to avoid confusion? I will be changing my name to Master Wangmaster if so, let me know.

mrs consequence tends to swear at the track/woods/mud/general surroundings a lot as she tries to ride through the pain barrier.... i advise letting your kids ride with the fast people if you want to protect their innocence...

in the interest of their innocence i recommend keeping yeti back in a medium group 😆

EDIT - dont know if anyone's mentioned yet but parking at the look out is free. (cheers for the email again Darren/DJ)

sorry Flip 😳

I was upset as it's true, I'm not even a real Yeti. I hear my father is a big foot. Hopefully I'll find out on Sunday...

"My daddy is coming [s]home
on July 14th.[/s] to Swinley on December the 5th.

My birthday is [s]July 14th.[/s] not on December the 5th.

I'm gonna see my daddy
for the first time ever...

on [s]July 14th[/s] December the 5th."

If I don't bring some lurkers with me on the Sunday, we're watching Con-Air Saturday night!

Hey phil - just a thought, this is going to be 'adults only' isn't it?

My language can be pretty shocking, as can some of the Soft Southern Shandy Drinkers contingent. 😯 And, of course, some of the Forum behaviour has to be seen to be believed. Guys just needing to let off steam and all that ...

I'm glad your missus swears like a trooper too!
