Anyone watching this yet? Seen it mentioned elsewhere as a bit strange with a weird t8meline.
Yes, really enjoying it so far! (It’s not actually on Prime tho, it’s a sub-channel - StarzPlay - which is another fiver a month after the free trial)
I wouldn’t say the timeline is particularly odd... chops back and forth between the present day, and the past showing how the different characters get there... pretty standard storytelling technique tbh and not remotely difficult to follow (albeit not how the book was presented)
Deliberately haven’t read too much about it, but did see that apparently King has written a new ending... potentially not a bad thing 😀
I am a huge fan of the original TV adaptation.
From what I've read this series misses out on some of the real pivotal moments from the original series and book.
That said, I love all apocalyptic stuff like this so I'll still watch it no doubt.😁
Prime's an odd beast. A lot of the stuff on it requires taking out further subscriptions to multiple other channels. Subscription overload!
I think many have free 7 day trials though.
