Haven't been a member for many, many years, but a quick search confirms that the 'Be Big' tent still meets at the 'Greyhound' pub in Ashton on the first Monday of each month.
I've loads of happy memories, the international convention at the Tickled Trout in Preston in the 80's, cheese rolling (think 'Swiss Miss') injuries, drunken games of 'Easy Kneesy' and friendships with like-minded idiots from all over the world.
Considering my first tattoo and the SotD crest was the first thing that sprang to mind:

Used to go the Kent tent (which rhymes alluringly).
Which boxed set did you get? I'd like to get one but most of the ones reviewed on Amazon got low marks as they were just obscure films from their solo careers.
I got the mammoth 20 dvd box set from hmv for about £20 in a sale a few years back.
Love watching them. My kids really like them too so it makes a pleasant change from cars or whatever to see some proper funny films.
