Just finished watching it on LoveFilm after someone mentioned it on here 😯
I'd highly suggest you don't watch it, or let your kids see it. I am officially more scarred than after watching Bambi's mum get shot aged six. 😳

The book is a good read - there are two endings depending on which edition of the book you get.

I remember my dad renting it when we were kids, based on the fact it was written by the same guy who wrote Watership Down, which was a little more child friendly.
