MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Hi guys,
We've had knack-all in the way of WiFi up here in the wilds of NE Scotland, so I haven't been able to update my blog on STW (see blogs) or email/speak to folk. Suffice to say, I don't want to replicate anything on the blog, so have a read as soon as Tom dB approves it and comment away!
For the record, my STW contact email is down whilst my school changes its IT systems, so if you want to ride with us, or email your support, call me on 07790252286 or catch me at thebullheart@gmail.com
Ta!

anyone central scotland going up tomorrow? my only other transport alternative is the train!
arse! i'm not in chester tomorrow.....
good luck pete, now that you are further down south the wifi should be more plentiful
I've just spent an hour riding with Mark, Jay and Laura. A very humbling hour it was too. It isn't long enough to completely suss someone out, but here's what I came up with.
For those of you who haven't met Mark he's a cross between Alexei Sayle and Mark Thomas.
He rides a single speed but his attempt at a beard would see him ostracised from any formal SS gathering. Needs work.
His mood was visibly lifted upon sighting Mrs Crimbles' macaroons.
He only stops talking when there's a hill.
He has dabbed twice on hills and was so pissed off that I wouldn't be surprised if he retraced his steps to try again.
His mum has a 'complicated' life.
I'm not sure what 'bumble bees' mean, but it made Jay giggle like a schoolboy.
He is as strong as an [s]ox.[/s] bull. They were going like the clappers - I couldn't have kept going at that pace.
I can't see cancer beating him - he has the belligerence (in a good way) to kick its arse.
A thoroughly decent, humble bloke. I said at the end of our brief ride that I'll meet him again someday and I really hope that I do.

Yep, stacks up with what I know of the man - had the good fortune to meet himself, Meg, and the rest of their families late last year...
Had hoped to meet and at least deliver cake when they passed 'close' but, t'was not to be - certainly hope to meet up again soon though...
