You're far too cynical. The fact of the matter is that there's so much really really great news about - about the economy, the NHS, education, even Libraries - that the budget has simply had to increase to tell us all about them
And most of the way to an election as well... of course that fact would never occur to them...

I can't help think: nurses wages, more teachers, disabled care, all may be perfectly valid things to spend money on, but what we really need is a ****ing model island.
