That has the potential for great fun. Can you get a version that will do 15-20mph? Take it on a DH track or just around a trail centre.

Northshore would be fantastic.

There is a shot on this at 1.35 of a segway towing a child trailer!

I was slightly tempted to have a go at Haldon, but **** me it's far too pricy.

I saw someone completely stack it on one of those a few weeks ago, he was riding along the pavement and lost his balance, falling backwards. he forgot to let go of the throttle and the segway ended up pulling him along and up a wall.

Funniest thing I have seen in a long time 😀

Isn't a Segway a motorised vehicle? Surely it's illegal to ride one on a bridleway?

Segway Inc strongly recommend the use of a
safety helmet at all times when using the Segway PT.

All Lakeland Segway participants and staff now
wear helmets on all tours.

Segway helmet debate AHOY!!

Can't help thinking of the fat, floaty spaceship passengers in "Wall-E"...

Does that include electric vehicles? I'm not sure, but disability scooter things seem to be exempt.

he forgot to let go of the throttle

except there is no throttle - you lean forward or back to speed up or brake...

Are we designing cities around these things yet?

I've been on a Segway in Vilnius, good way to get around the town, they're a lot of fun. Not legal here IIRC - looks like this 'Lakeland tour' is all on private land.

Nice off-road tyres though, would love to give that a go...

Once you've got the hang of it you can turn off the limiter and it will easily do 15mph

There was a singing wizard rolling round one at work a couple of years back, which was a bit surreal.
I guess wizards have special dispensations for these sort of things.

Anyway, best be careful mocking them or, the segway assault team might turn up.
