Just finished watching the American version of the killing, absolutely loved it.

So what next? I've already watched the wire so that is out. As is the shield.

Fire away, thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Did you watch the Danish original of The Killing? If not, watch that

Spiral. French cop programme with an incredibly gorgeous lady lawyer.

Its only a mini series, and not police based, but try Generation Kill.

I started to watch the Danish second season of the killing but have missed a few episodes. Will have to catch up on them.

Has anybody watched Luther? Saw a couple of episodes and thought it was worth a watch. Might have to put that on my list if recommended.

Luther is well worth a watch, personally I preferred the first series to the second.

On quite a different flavour, Misfits, especially the first series, is very good too

Breaking Bad, Deadwood and Mad Men are the best TV series of recent years IMO.

Selling the first two series of Breaking Bad if you're tempted.

Borgen is brilliant, totally hooked. 8)

Never thought I would be able to watch anything with subtitles but loved The Killing. Gripping stuff.

Borgen is great. What's not so great is that after two series of the Killing, and half a series of Borgen, the only Danish word I've managed to pick up is "tak".

How come I never heard of any of these?

Quite enjoyed Boardwalk Empire.

Who's have thought Danish politic's could be so interesting? Enjoying Borgen as well, and saw The Killing II but missed the first series. Enjoyed Wallander where I got the hang of reading sub titles and watching the plot.

The thing I find quite nice about Borgen, is the political problems seem near identical to those of a UK based version.
