Saw this at the cinema last night - really impressed by it - an amazing true story, but also an excellent film - really captured the terror of the Tsunami from a parent's point of view.
A good review here, from a British survivor http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/filmblog/2013/jan/04/the-impossible-beautifully-accurate-film

It was about time the plight of western holiday makers was documented in film.
(Also saw it. Pretty good. Though can't really be doing with Ewan McGregor. Very well recreated. Naomi Watts and the kids were great.)

Likewise I'm not a big fan of Ewan, but Naomi and the kids were very good.
