The bugger could have mentioned the bike races 😉

As Rachael the caterer said when she turned up in a basque..."Tits sell pies".

I have never seen anyone maintain eye contact quite as studiously as Harry the Spider did when talking to Rachael after the race.

I work with her husband. He's built like Henry VIII.

he's quite a handy sword fighter too by all accounts. Viking-style I think he said (as we chatted over a polystyrene tray of chili con-carne).

He went to Poland for some sort of euro-ruck last year. Apparently the Russians were using "live" (sharp) weapons 😯

I have spent a pleasant evening in the company of miketually and nbt at the 'Hit the North' pasta party.
If the local guys had known of the extra eye candy, there would have been more than 3 people at the above pasta party.

As a medieval re-enactor i can confirm that lumps of cake are the preferred - nay, demanded - food-based currency at events!

Foreign types tend to like using sharp weapons as well, makes life a little more interesting when fighting them....

Very considerate of them to provide somewhere to park your bike whilst you're necking your pint.
