Where Eagles Dare... epic, epic opening sequence - even just watching it on YouTube makes me feel ten years old.

They don't make 'em like they used to...

Not ashamed to say that this still brings me close to tears, no matter how often I hear it. Utterly sublime.

The Sopranos theme tune is really good.

As is the 80s-episode-version of the Fringe theme.

Gotta be this, god I feel old.

Except that's "the Star Fleet Project" rather than the theme tune. You're looking for this,

And the opening credits for good measure,

God, I loved that show as a kid.

You know, I spotted the SF Project LP at an event last year and didn't have any means of buying the damn thing. I'm still cross about that.

Yeah, the theme to Angel was a slow burn, took a while to grow on me. Firefly also. Love them both now, ofc.

I once did this pilgrimage drive over the Grand St Bernard Pass on an Alps climbing trip, whilst playing this music. Unfortunately, it was in a Renault Megane Senic not a Lambo Miura, with 2 other big hairy brit climbers, a girl and a mountain of kit.

Ooh, can't forget the girl cartoons...

Hannah Montana totally ripped off Jem and completely botched the job. -_-
