On Channel 4.
It's bit great, isn't it?
Gloriously, OTT, and treating history a bit like George McDonald Fraser - don't mess with the facts, but play with the fun of it all!
Highly recommended.
Or Bridgerton on Netflix for endless regency shagging, panto dames and fist fighting. Seems factual to me.
Do fancy a look at The Great, though.
The Great is great
I’m a grumpy pants but I enjoyed that.
Missed it but the ads do look good. Thanks for the mini review, I'll search it out.👍
Loved it.
It would have been better if it was half as long, but it's brutally funny.
^^ Brutally funny, sounds like just the sort of humour I like. Definitely going to catch up on this.

hmmmm, I think they are using a v loose interpretation of “facts” but it’s quite good fun nevertheless.
Bridgerton is what I imagine e 12year old girl thinks the Regency was like
The closest thing I can think of to it is The Death of Stalin.
Enjoyed greatly.
Huzzah!

Which is on BBC iPlayer at the moment. I watched it over the weekend coincidentally and came to the same conclusion. Definitely one I'm going to follow.
If you don't want to wait for it to appear weekly on Channel 4 it is on Starzplay for 99p a month 3 month free trial.
Good fun. Spot Derwent Water?
That was good, now do I binge watch it or not?
No - i did that with Vikings and now feel soulless and empty inside.
still s****ing over 6 😀
Flicking through BBC site a few weeks back and saw this item:
A glimpse out of the corner of my eye thought it was advertising a new Little Britain.
Women are not for reading, they are for seeding! Huzzah!
Or something like that. glorious fun.
The emperor of all the Russias is due a new patio!
Really enjoying The Great. Nicholas Hoult is very good indeed
Huzzah!
