So, it's all about to start and should be exciting.

Jenson Button - what gopping sunglasses! 😯

I'm just about awake 8)

Predictions:
1 - Vettel
2 - Barrichello
3 - Massa

I think Button will crash out. Still fingers crossed that Mclaren are faking all this, so hopefully hammy will just win from the back of the grid 😉

No idea, probably because it came out late after waiting for Button to finish his pit stop 😀

Not convinced the new regs are working as they had hoped, it's a bit 'processional' again

i like the new format, plenty of action and overtaking. Think first is sorted, it's a race for second...

Maybe not quite.

Button still has to use the super softs and they don't seem to last very long.

16 laps to go and the interesting stuff is still to come with proper racing right down to the end?

Quite like Jonathon Legard, he has a bit of Murry Walker about him - some excitement in his voice 🙂

Yep good stuff, glad for Jenson. Not too happy about Barrichello, think he drove like an idiot some of the time.

Chuffed for Brawn and Jenson. Great to see the team rise from the ashes. What do we reckon on a Hamilton / Button battle this season?

I'm interested to see sector timings as that McLaren didn't seem too bad compared to yesterday. I think it's a good car (balance is good), but it's just slow.

I imagine by next week the big boys would have copied the diffuser design so will be up there with Brawn, so yeah, Hammy will be up there with Button (hopefully).

If the 'diffuser gang' get thrown out at the appeal that means Hamilton gets the win!! ;o)

That was odd seeing two drivers on the podium with almost zero sponsorship on their clothing. I wonder how much that will change by the next race?

I didn't know Button was a virgin. And to flaunt it to the point of marking a car? Weirdo!

Hamilton promoted to third now.

Definately worth getting up to watch so early.

I almost vomited when I saw Branson and those two grinners. I wonder how long his grinning face will be there come the 4th race...

Post-Malaysia and Hamilton could be the winner of the Melborne race.....watch this space.

Really did quite enjoy the race, am hoping that that is the end result though, not just for Brawn but it is nice if the podium is just occasionally right!

Trulli ran off road near the end of the race, thus losing a place to McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, but then repassed the world champion once he had rejoined the circuit.

The Italian was given a 10-second stop-go penalty as a result, but since the offence occurred within the final five laps that was translated into a 25-second penalty added to his race time. He thus drops to 12th.

"I can't say how disappointed I am to finish third but have the result questioned," he said. "When the safety car came out towards the end of the race Lewis passed me but soon after he suddenly slowed down and pulled over to the side of the road. I thought he had a problem so I overtook him as there was nothing else I could do."

worth an appeal?

Great home town win. there's been more than a little bit of an atmosphere round Brackley about what's going to happen down at Honda, and now every-one's got a big 'ole silly grin on their faces...

Fantasic. Dead chuffed.
