]Edward Woodward dies at 79.[/url]
Another childhood hero bites the dust. Gutted...
The wicker man. Rip.
He'll be misse*.
One of my favourite jokes involve* this man, and I'm annoye* that I've forgotten all but the punchline.
The joke involve* a lack of the letter 'D', leaving his name as:
Ewar Woowar
Not that funny, now that I see it in textual form.
I've been trying to think of stiff wood jokes, but haven't had much joy yet.
May he rest in peace. I'm glad we still have columbo...
The joke (and it's a crap one) is:
Q: Why does Edward Woodward have so many Ds in his name
A: Because if he didn't he'd be called Ewar Woowar
Not MUCH of a joke (I think it's a Morecambe and Wise joke)
Ewar Woowar
First thing that always popped into my head everytime I saw him on the telly.
