Most companies need to go on standard tariff then swap over to their EV tariff once they have checked your car and/or charger eligibility
Fuse Energy tried this and then couldn't offer the quoted rates. Straight back to Octopus I went.
Sort of related - anyone had charger port issues with a Kona?
The door won't open, seems the mechanism (push to open push to close type latch) is stuck. Googling suggests it can get sticky if eg road grime has got in and then dries but I don't want to force it open, at the same time google says you can pop the door with a plastic lever (tyre lever ahoy!) to open it, which I've had to do to be able to charge. But then the door doesn't register it's been opened so the charging lights don't come on, but does seem to have accepted charge OK.
Seen it? How did you fix? Due in garage anyway shortly so if no issue I can wait until then.
I've just been speaking to a friend of mine who is fairly high up in one of the main companies that install chargers. This is the first year (financial year, so since April) that their executives have an option of a fully electric company car because they now think that there is enough infrastructure to support them. He does a LOT of miles (literally he could be in Devon on Monday and then Aberdeen on Tuesday and he does big trips like that at least twice a week) and is just trying a fully electric car to see if it will work out.

He needs a helicopter, not an EV

Not had that issue with ours, but probably worth a squirt of silicon lube on the locking mechanism and then cycle it a few times?
He needs a better secretary !

Ours (MG4) did that on Saturday. We thought it might be the heat. Silicon spray (well Squirt For Juice) sorted it out. Good job as there wasn't enough charge to get to the dealers.

Would be a plan but I can't get it to pull out to be able to cycle and get lube on the shaft itself, it's locked into the closed position. There's a rubber seal, I need to see if I can get a WD40 like straw down inside that and if that frees it up.
