The Little Lady is away tonight, so I have the bike in the back of the van, I'll be doing a couple of laps in those woods behind that financial institution in Swindon, before heading home and stopping off at a takeaway food outlet to pick up my evening meal (referred to as dinner by those of us who were brought up properly, although the ITV viewers amongst you may call it tea).

So, the question is, what to have?

Chilli sauce? 😀

Of course, you are aware that its frightfully bad form not to have a minimum of 6 pints beforehand. And theres football on. All the boxes ticked

Soz.

Plain chow mein and Rice (noodles on top of the rice)
Sweet and sour chicken (HK style) if it's a good Chinese.

Full curry - poppadoms, pickles, mixed starter, man sized main of your choice, dhall masala and saag side dishes, garlic naan and a couple of beers. Then laze about on the sofa in your vest and pants, bloated and farting.

btw I'll let you off with the dinner jibe - as you have to suffer living in Swindon - I'll keep my tea and my Yorkshire hills 🙂

The idea is that I do something different this evening 🙂

So far it's a straight three way fight between Indian, chinese and kebab. The kebab place is the best, but I think I fancy one of the other two more. Decisions...

With reference to your initial question, why not pour yourself an enormous glass of red then just wade your way through an enormous cheese board?

Well, just to up the ante a little chaps, as of five minutes ago we've had an offer accepted on a house, so a celebration is in order...

Oh, but for the record, I won't be watching the footie.

[edit] But rest assured Binners, I've given the staff the evening off so they can

What does your little chap have to do with it? Have some dignity and put some clothes on. 🙂

Cool on the house. That being the case, beans on toast, so she can spend all your money on soft furnishings.

Never, this is my last chance for a decent meal before it's watery gruel every night...

I'd go for a large mixed kebab; lamb shish and lamb kofte with everything on it.

Or

Fish and chips with mushy peas and loads of tartare sauce.

Try the holy grail of pizzas.

goodfellas make a nacho cheese pizza, quite the delicacy.

just make sure its defrosted properly and baked slowly...theres nowt worse than a pizza that's burnt at the edges and frozen in the centre. 😳

"Who's cheese is this?"

"It's nacho cheese!"

Poppadoms & pickle tray
Saag king prawn Puree
Lamb rogan josh
Saag Paneer side
Mushroom pilau
keema naan
beer
beer
beer
beer

failing that, Nandos takeaway. Failing that, KFC bucket.

She's away and you can't decide what takeaway to have?

Surely it should be a "what coke and hookers?" thread? Or is that already sorted?
