Those of you thinking about not going on Sunday...

I think the lights'll be off if you did go ๐Ÿ™

At least I predicted Lyth would get out! Never expected Bell and Root to fall so cheaply.

England would take 70 - 4 at the close right now.

And now Stokes has faced three balls and nearly got out three times.

Seriously? WTF has happened here?

I've only just got over the shock of the score I looked at when I got up, bloke in the pub last night was convinced Lyth was on for a ton today...

Well a big change and a massive improvement, being faced with a gobby Warne berating my ears on TV this morning I'm back with TMS/ABC Grandstand and the difference it incredible. 20 mins of Aggers and Tuffers and now we have Blofeld!

Well I must be the only one watching/listening ๐Ÿ™‚ Could that be the bit of luck?

Buttler gone. This could finish quite quickly now.

Moeen and Broad needs to play with some patience - if they do then maybe a the follow on can be avoided - assuming the Aussies will enforce it?

What now? A rapid fire 100 partnership to avoid batting again today?

Broad may be thinking that way!

no way they will enforce the follow on, knock a couple of hundred with some freedom and then pick England off over 4 or 5 sessions.

I agree - They'd like to be batting today for a bit - maybe 20 overs - 80 runs?

Well I'd put money on [s]50[/s] 30 from the tail over batting to the close the way they are swinging. Neither is a great help...

(maybe a edit in there)

Tail did rather better than the top order

Aussies going bat again - 150 by lunch tomorrow would be a 500 run lead and 5 sessions to take 10 wickets - or England to get them?

I still fancy a draw.

[quote=tiggs121 ]150 by lunch tomorrow would be a [s]500[/s] 400 run lead

Though they won't take that long to get to 150. 25 overs left today, I'd expect to see at least 100 on the board.

Ooops - aye - meant to say 250!

Could never be a scorer!

Ah, 250 by lunch tomorrow is certainly feasible, though I'm not sure Clarke would feel the need to set that high a target for this England team, new positive approach or not.

There is no way that Lyth, Bell and Root will get out so cheaply again.........is there?

I reckon Clarke will think he needs at least 450 to be safe and give himself the time to win.

I'm assuming you weren't an England cricket supporter in the 90s?

I'll still predict a rain assisted draw.

I'm hoping for Cook to reprise Athers' most famous innings. It will take something like that.

Bell and Ballance need to be there at the end of the day now. Not so sure they will manage that on current form?

The report at Tea.

Aaaaargh. Run your bat in you idiot!

Almost want it to be over and done with to be honest. A very weak England display.

Crikey, this is a proper hammering. Aussies showing mental strength to come back from first test result to deliver a humiliating thrashing like this. I hope England can recover psychologically from this. ๐Ÿ™‚

This is why England fans make the most of it when we win a match against Australia.

Though to look at the positives, so far this year we've been alternating winning comfortably with getting thrashed and there are 3 tests left...

Let's get Rogers out now. If he hangs around I think they could still get a decent score.
