Good point, I'll do the same, then remembers, I am my boss.

Enjoyed that a lot, thanks.
What's an Irish Shamen ???
At a guess i'd i'd say any drunk irish national with a fondness for Jamesons/Bushmills.
Brilliant. Reminded me of times in Norway with a reindeer herder's daughter. The post Chernobyl ban on the meat made them turn to a rodeo lifestyle. A very strange time.
Fantastic.
Also amazed that you'd set out on such a trip without a spare chain link. I won't go to the shops without the one stuffed up the inside of my seatpost.

I thought it remarkable good luck that she should find one in the back of beyond. Good Karma plays her hand.
Karma or road angels as the people I cycled with called it occur at the most unexpected time. On my trip it happened twice and was so welcome, things were a bit grim and I was struggling then a random act of kindness transforms your day or week. I can remember mine so clearly and the lift it gave me.
