Wow, if this doesn't make people stop nothing will.

They won't watch it as they'll be too busy texting.

Saw this outside a church in Tennessee

Come in to our church to speak to God or text God while driving to meet him

Ooh, that crack when their heads bump together. Just what text drivers need.

I might be off to court later in the year to give evidence against somebody for using their mobile while driving. Kids in the back drifting out of their lane. When challenged by me and the police they absolutely point blank denied it (with phone in hand) and argued with a policeman for ages about it.

unbelievable!

Is that the advert with the girls in the Ka? If it is it's been knocking around for a couple of years, and hasn't worked.

I liked the way they used 2 or 3 dumb blonde white chavs.

I got abuse from a driver who had to stop half way out of a junction, he failed to see me coming down the road because he was texting or facebooking or something. 🙄

I used to see it a lot on the motorways when I was a driver and IME the vast majority were young and female. Not all of them but a good percentage.

At least the Americans have routinely placed 20mph limits outside schools for decades. They quite often place Police cars outside schools to catch speeders as well - I never see that in the UK.

We have thousands of ****ing speed cameras in this country and rarely does anyone have the nouse to put them outside a sodding primary school.

I think thats a valid point above, and a good idea.

A slight alternative comment to that is that having stood outside a school pointing a speed gun at cars coming down the road that look like they are going too fast for a 30 are often under the 30mph limit. Perception and reality can be quite different.

Maybe because it's only seen on youtube and forums?

Saw a young woman texting on the A3(m) was waiting for her to overtake at about 75mph, got next to me and slowed so I couldn't overtake the lorry in front.. I look across, the pink mobile is on the steering wheel, took her a few moments to realise I was moving over anyway, leaning on the horn.. due care and attention eh. Morons.

Had some moron behind me steering whilst holding his phone yesterday. Cue erratic driving, weaving about. We were stopped at traffic lights and was completely oblivious.

I'm sure they would if they could park anywhere nearby, the over protective/lazy army will have every street blocked droppin precious off

is this an advert for Siri and Apple Iphones?

You don't need to look at the phone whilst driving, just tell it who to text and what to say, sorted!

😉

There are pretty strict guidelines as to where cameras can be placed. Accident blackspots being the main criteria. If there are not the accidents at a location, they can't put the cameras there. Look it up. Each county is very open about the whole process.
